the best wedding speeches are short, and some combination or sweet and funny. the purpose of your speech is to toast the bride, talk about how great she is. so think of a special memory you have – it should be sentimental, demonstrate what a great sister/person she is and can be funny.

but keep it SHORT! because usually the toasts come right before dinner, so the longer yours is, the longer guests have to wait for dinner! plus they’ll start tuning you out.

share a fun experience that the two of you had together. if the other maid of honor is going to say something then try not to make it to long. tell how much you love her and just let it come from your heart. good luck
